AIA advertising again

Well AIA are advertising for pilots again.

"Captains" and F/O. What they neglect to say in the ad, is the "Captain" non rated, will be a F/O for up to a year or so, before assessed for suitability for upgrade and will end up paying AIA back for the rating over a period time, as well as being bonded. Maybe they are not aware there is a pilot shortage at the moment.

Seem to be advertising a lot for pilots lately. They are either expanding or having trouble keeping pilots.

Reject? Not me. Wouldn't get my hands dirty on cargo, or arms, thank you very much. A mate of mine was rejected and he was pissed off at the time but soon got over it and has gone onto bigger and better things. Lets face it who really wants to pay for their own rating on a 30 + year old a/c?

Bit of a shortage of pilots around at the moment so AIA are going to have to lower the bar or up the package. What?!

It was significant that the contents of my first post on this subject were not disputed.

Via which agency is AAI hiring now?
Used to be flying for them some years ago (on the B737) and strange as it sounds, enjoyed my time there.

Not an engine fire, 'an engine fire warning'............ very big difference.
