Question spouses/kids/travel partners on freighters to USA?

hi,

as of the middle of march this year the TSA/homeland security act banned any persons from traveling on board freight aircraft apart from operating crew or couriers.

There was a rumour going around that FedEx and UPS crew were working towards legal action against this ban.
Any news on this??

I know Cargolux is working on this with the TSA, but without any significant progress yet.
