Question Silverback Cargo

Whats up with Silverback Cargo in Rawanda? Last I heard they were grounded with one bird in Maintenance in Joehanesburg and the other parked in Kigali. Does anyone have news?

It's actually very strange as I also noticed their website has been down for quite sometime now... I wonder if they're still in business!

Just checked their website and it seems they're back on... no details on what is currently happening as far as business or flight operations for that matter!!!

Thumbs up Still operating

Regularly see Silverback's DC-8-62F (9XR-SD) around SHJ, EBB, NBO, and JNB. Believe that 9XR-SC is undergoing C-Check.

Seems Silverback is concentrating on African, and Africa to and from Middle East market, going from sterngth-to-strength. Hear they are also shopping for a DC-8-73F.

9XR-SD was in JNB on Fri evening 6 Oct 2007. Seems they are still flying strong,...best of good luck with their operation!
