It would be a complete custom job, but maybe their op has spare parts just in case?

The AN225 flew into Prestwick this afternoon from Goose Bay for an overnight, followed 10 minutes later by a Volga Dnepr AN124

Thought it came in from Bangor?

Or did it stop at Goose Bay on the way over?

What's it flying in or out?

Anyone know why she now seems to have a "C5" aircraft type code on her flight plans on Eurocontrol, instead of A225?

At the moment the Messageboard at
http://www.russian-aviation.net/ is off-line. We are working on it...

Veeps, was it you that gave a reply to the "An-225 to Prague" question?

Got the "reply notification", but when I wanted to look it up last Saturday afternoon I found out the messageboard had disappearedv (just for now I hope!)...

According to
http://www.planes.cz/en/expected-prg/?win_res=1024 Antonov An-225 UR-82060 is due for Prague-Ruzyne PRG on August 4, i.e. next Friday!
ETA 08:00, ETD 21:00.
Coming from Gostomel, going to DXB/Dubai.

Re Russian-Aviation.net : we're still working on it!

Hey, it would be nice to see this bird overhere, in Dubai.

Keep us informed of the ETA OMDB, please. I will try to get to the airport on time.
It's somewhat "must-see", huh?

Unfortunately, according to the same weblink
http://www.planes.cz/en/expected-prg/?win_res=1024 now an An-124 will be used for the charter to Dubai... The An-225 has been cancelled.
Not sure if the "Ruslan" is a regular to Dubai?

Well, An-124s do land here as often as IL-76s. Not "a considerable event" nowadays.

Hopefuly will see 225 on Dubai Airshow this Nov.
