Phoned up HR and they said probably a few pilots to be taken on soon but ONLY for Leipzig basing.

NEMA, the airport has chanded it name again. Now just East Midlands Airport - Nottingham, Leicester, Derby, or just EMA

LEJ base

Hi guys, I’m looking for more info on DHL.

Is the LEJ base open already?

How is the roster for B757 drivers? Are you guys “on the road” for a week or so, before getting back home?

Would it be better to apply for the B757 F/O position via DHL UK, or DHL (EAT) in Belgium?

Roster varies, but typically you're away for five days then off for three or so. At the moment, nine days off a month seems to be the norm, the rest of the time you are away. The LEJ base has not been started yet, but one of the (many) departing managers let it slip, deliberatley, that the EMA ops is going to be closed by 2009. Management deny this, of course.
