Global Supply Systems Network

Hello,

Can somebody please provide the latest route structure for GSS. I have done a search but relative threads have been locked so I can't continue an old thread.

Captain Airclues made a post some time posting this data:

STN - FRA - HKG - DEL - STN
STN - FRA - HKG - MAA - STN
STN - HKG - BOM - STN
STN - FRA - BAH - HKG - BOM - STN
STN - FRA - PIK - ATL - STN
STN - FRA - PIK - ATL - IAH - STN
STN - CGN - JNB - ACC - VIT - STN
STN - CGN - JNB - LUN - VIT - STN
STN - DMM - DXB - HKG -DEL - STN

Basically, I'm just after an update on what's above.

Thank you in advance.

Similar to what you have i believe, though both the JNB runs have gone, the stn fra pik atl iah now goes to ord iso atl, also a stn fra dxb pvg del stn i think. This is 2nd hand info from one of the loadies at stn.

hope this helps

However be prepared for numourous:

Pos: STN- TAXI - LHR- DEL - MIN REST- HEAVY DEL- STN.
Pos: STN - TAXI - LHR - PVG/HKG Min Rest - Operate the same to either BOM,DEL,MAA - then stay on the aircraft and dead head to STN.

As guys are leaving - roster paterns are getting worse. What is most concerning is the amount of trainers leaving. Even at present levels the training department will find it difficult if not impossible to cope.

New pay negociations are imminent - But I doubt if this will attract newcomers with type experience due to the recent "Fragrant Harbour" operator.

Only three things in life are certain: One of them is an GSS F/O can make a mean cup of tea - !!!!!!!!!

GSS

Excalaba,
Thanks for your update on the GSS operation. Your information isn't all correct.

As guys are leaving - roster paterns are getting worse. What is most concerning is the amount of trainers leaving. Even at present levels the training department will find it difficult if not impossible to cope.

To date there have been no trainers leave the company. In fact, as a concerned member of the aviation society, you may be pleased to hear that the number of trainers has in fact increased and even without those additional guys there isn't a problem with the amount of training required.

As for roster patterns getting worse, many F/O's are complaining about how little they are doing, admittedly there are times when they are on a trip and to get home quickly some opt to stay on the aircraft to get home earlier.

You really should get your facts sorted and correct before you put your fingers to the keyboard but I suppose it's a good rumour

Hey Rocketfun - I am not even going to bite on that one, Why ? cause it's not fact.

You must be one of the GSS trainers that has just been rejected by a new " Fragrant Harbour Operator"!!!!!!

I wait (Presumably in Silence)

GSS

Ex cal,

You seem to be assuming that I work for GSS and am a pilot .......

GSS affairs are quite public knowledge in many parts of the world ... even though its still relatively small - got a reputation already that you seem to be unfamiliar with .....

I'd quite like the idea of living and working in Hong Kong, sounds pretty good to me - especially if paid as well.......

I suppose to be strictly true, GSS have not had any trainers leave to the Fragrant Harbour yet..... But one has handed his notice in.

I'm not sure about the statement of increased numbers of trainers. As far as I am aware, the two that were announced still have not started their training. Add to that JE who retired to Scotland late last year.
