Expats Act Airlines Beware
Just Joined Act Airlines And Pls Let Me Tell You Human Resourses And Administration Very Polite And Treat With Respect. Tha Problem Is The Local Pilot Admin Does Not Want The Expat Pilots And Prefer To Hire 250 Local Turks Which I Understand But They Were Never Honest About This From The Beginning. The Chief Pilot Completley Ignores You Does Not Take The Least Interest In Expat Pilots. Training Depart All They Do Is Ask You To Sign For Ground School You Never Attended. Other Turkish Carriers For Expats Only Require 2 Jaa Exams In Ankara While Act Requires Work Permit Residence Card Jaa Class 1 For Non Jaa Plus All The Burocreacy Required To Pass Thru In Turkey. Arrived In Istanbul 30days Ago And No Flying In Sight Had To Fight For Decent Hotel And Pay While Waiting For Conversions But No Money For Perduim Or Even An Advance. You Go To The Office And Ask And Nobody But Human Recoureses Even Talks To You Or Gives You Any Answers It Just Like Your Invisible. The Broker Plays It Both Ways Saying He Take Care Of It And Nothing Seems To Change. Maybe Its The Culture But The Local Fo All Great Guys Hang Out In The Office Will Waiting For Ioe. I Will Never Do That.
