Cathay take full control of DragonAir
From Aircargonews :
27-Sep-2006 : Cathay Pacific will officially take the reins of Dragonair tomorrow, giving it access to the 22 mainland destinations that the Hong Kong carrier serves.
Dragonair flights to Bangkok will be cancelled from today, as will cargo services to the US next March. The merger will also force 300 job cuts within Dragonair.
The Hong Kong carrier will operate under Cathay management, chief executive Kenny Tang, said: "During the integration process, there are some difficult decisions that need to be made to ensure Dragonair is able to maximise the synergies that will result from the alignment, and ultimately accelerate our growth."

I was told a while ago that it would become double daily Cathay, but as they say we will have to wait and see
Would be nice if we had the B744 on route as the 200s are very noisy
