Information on Sharjah Cargo Ops

I have noticed the large amount of cargo aircraft (old soviet freight birds, antonovs, ilyushins) and cargo airlines operating from sharjah, are there many job oppurtunitys there? or are the crews of these aircraft all ex soviet pilots?

or is this a bad idea as working for someone like victor bout could get you in some trouble !

any info on requirements etc would be great
