Freight Dogs Finally a forum for those midnight prowler types who utilise the unglamorous parts of airports that many of us never get to see. Freight Dogs is for pilots and crew who operate mostly without SLF.

Would like to get in touch with 744F pilots.

Would like to get in touch with 744F pilots.

Hey ! as you might notice iam new here. Iam really intrested in cargo flying and such might wanna become a cargo pilot in the future. Iam quite intrested in cargo operations. Would be really cool if i could get in touch with some 744F pilots if possible. Would like to ask some general questions about flying it and such. my email if [email protected] so please feel free to email me.

Most of my questions are FMC/FMS based. like what Cost Index certain cargo companies use on the 744F and such route information if possible.

Kind regards:Alexander

I dont fly the 744F, but if you ask your questions in the Tech or Questions forum, I'm sure that you will get answers...

As for cost index, its generally route specific based upon the fuel/aircraft. costs.

Hi ! thank you for ur response. I will try to post it in tech/questions forum then . Yes i know that cost index is based on many things but i for example know a real cathay pacific pilot he has shown me that when they fly 744 they as normal use 80 as cost index. If they are delayed or have a tight connection they increase to 250 then decrese once ontime arrival is assured.

Kind regards:Alexander

OK CR2 thank you for responding ! means alot to me. I know your a real world 744 CX pilot which I adore wholeheartly Sir. I hope I will get a chance to get to know you better .

The reason I asked pilots to email me is simply becuse I dont wanna clutter the forum and i wanna get to know some pilots more personally simply becuse i wanna ask of ways to become a pilot in the future.

My requests are flightplans, cost index if possible even though i know cost index doesnt matter so much in the end cuz its a matter of minutes.

By flightplans I got examples;

-ADEP EFHK
-ADES VTBD
-ARCID FIN097
-ARCTYP MD11
-RFL F310

---------------------------------------------------------------

As one can see alot of clutter.

I hope you CR2 could be kind and maybe help me out here?. As I know Cargolux is one of the biggest 744F operators in the world if not the biggest??. I suppose you base urself at ELLX??.

I myself live really close to ESGJ also about 1 and a half hour from ESGG which get Emirates cargo 744F.

Iam 20 years old fly alot of private at the club at ESGJ with friends I know. Once flew with a real world pilot in a piper he let me land the aircraft by myself and he thought I was really good.

I have also visited the tower at my local airport a couple of times. Was allowed to take some pictures and talk to the people that work there.

I have also done some practical training there. After my practical training I was allowed into a charter aircraft an A320 flown by My Travel asked the pilots some questions very intresting

Also last but not least Buster Hyman i dont wanna fight/argue with you. You have the right to belive what you want so i think we just leave it .

Also wanna state

The flightplans are NOT from ACARS but from friends also from websites like fboweb and red1aviation.com.

So any 744F pilot feel free to contact me in what ever way you wish.

Kind regards:Alexander

Hey Alexander,

To start with I'm not a pilot with CX but what do you exactly want to know? Do you want flight plan copies or do you simply want to know what is meant with certain items on it?

Coastrider26

Proud to be out of cargo flying

sorry don't know where that came from

Okay...2 things Alexander. The little smilie with the tongue poking out should be interpreted as a "cheeky" comment. There was no intention to dispute your "knowing" a CX pilot, the cheekyness was for the "real" bit. I knew a fake one.." in other words, you knew a real one & I knew a fake one...just a joke Alexander. You'll get a lot of that on these threads, especially in Jet Blast, so don't immediately think people are having a go at you. Aussies will especially enjoy winding you up so...you've gotta watch them closely!

Secondly, CR2 isn't a 744 pilot. He's a cross dressing loadmaster from ELLX!

Hey guys ! hows it going?. Well maybe its true what they say you learn something new everyday.

Buster Hyman no hard feelings from me. I guess its the way iam brought up in this cold country lol. People here are very stale and boring for the most. I guess thats why i took your jokes or "cheeky" comments whatever you wanna call it the wrong way and yes you are right i did notice the harsh jokes in the Jet Blast forums.

Australians are really cool people in many ways

Hope i get a chance to get to know you better .

CR2 how can i possibly thank you ??. This means alot to me !. I hope i will get to know you better to . I hope you can dig up something for me as you said email or here its whatever u wish.

Take care guys !

Kind regards from a cold Sweden

Alexander

Just for the record: Buster and I are ex colleagues, so reserve the right to wind each other up. The idiot supports Everton, do I have to say more

He'll tell you I support the European Champions anyway...

Alex, haven't forgotten, patience mate.

Psssst: Buster, did you buy that Hyundai (That's Australian for "Crap Car") ...

PS Buster, just asked the missus to do that sheep jumping .gif thingy I learned from you. She hit me.
