I see that you're asking alot of questions re: freight ops into JNB, i.e. GSS and MK. That black book of yours must be filling up quickly.
May I suggest a call to MK and GSS ops I'm sure they would be happy to help.

STABO AIR

I think most of those are STABO AIR flights leasing MK Aircraft and route through Lusaka and Accra

hey there.

Cant get hold of the local ops for GSS and MK,try explaining "MK Airlines" to directory enquiries! they think you're joking.

I'm just interested because i've heard the same flights (identical flight numbers etc) halfway round the world from FAJS,so i'm very curious to hear where they originate. Its not like Iberia or Air France where you KNOW 100% that they're going to their home base.As i said,i heard GSS 3594 over Switzerland southbound and MKA 803 over the Red Sea area,.both of which i know originate in jnb cos i've been on the airfield and on joburg area 126.7 with them.

Anyway,thanks for the replies..
cheers guys

Cpt – if your talking SA Directory Enquiries I’ve given up on them ever since they couldn’t find the number for the Telkom office in Durban.

For MK you may wish to try

MK Airlines Ltd

Kotoka International Airport

thank you for that,much appreciated!

PS,their website reveals very little too,but it does, for some reason, have a nifty diagram taken from the 747 manual depicting the turn radius of a B742!

Perhaps i'll give them a call.

Cheers,Cb
