B757PF Cargodoor operation

You guys driving the 75 freighters (SF and PF), do you normally leave the door in canopy or full open position when loading/unloading the A/C?
Are there any recommendation from MR. Boeing on how to operate the door?

Regards

Packsonflight,

Usually in canopy. The door operating panel has a green indicator light to show when you've reached canopy & Mr Boeing says either position is good, except in high winds when it MUST be canopy.

Thanks RT
Are you flying the converted type (SF) or the newbuilt (PF)?

We operate both although I fibbed slightly in that the PF does not have the canopy indicator light. Same rules apply however.

Drop me a PM if you want any specifics.
