Axum Obelisk Return
I just saw an internet news article that the first part of the Axum Obelisk has been airfreighted from Italy to Ethiopia. Only one photo. Looked like the open nose of an An-124 in the background.
Does anyone have any more info or photos ?

i landed several times in Axum during the Great Famine Relief. That was in a C130, and an exiting approach and landing that was! Never did it twice wearing the same T-shirt. Must have been one hell of an upgrade of the runway there in order to accept THAT airplane!!!
