Shipping costs these days

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone can give me a rough estimate on how much it would cost me to freight my car from the uk to florida? I might be going out there for a while to do some training and would like to take my car with me. The car itself is a 2 seater MR2 T-Bar if that makes any difference to the price? Or is it priced on weight?

I'd be very grateful if someone can give me some sort of indication as to the cost of getting the car there within 14 or so days?

Thanks in advance

Are you looking at air freight or putting it into a shipping container by sea (cheaper)??

If the car can fit LD Lower Deck pallet, get Virgin Atlantic cargo to move it or British Airways World Cargo. Approx cost around GBP £0.60/kg excl fuel surcharge (£0.30/kg) and security. They will probably charge you on pivot weight of 1400kgs not the actual wegith of the car for the pallet position, whichever is greater.
