Maybe one of the ones made redundant a few months back could do the honours!

Mmmm!
One of the ones that got laid off, finds this very interesting.
Waiting for an invitation!
Can anyone confirm that there is supposed to be a 6 month period after redundancy, before that position can be taken again?
A STN based Loadie went on his own accord, so he is being replaced. Fair enough.
But, there has been an internal promotion to fill the 'redundant' spot. Just done his slides at BA!

What do you think?

atlantic747, hope it works out, you won't meet better out on the line . Just don't expect loyalty!

itsonthebox, wouldn't bet against it!

Hi JS, would have thought FDD would know the story here, but maybe he has been gagged (or outed!).
Good luck.

Everyone makes mistakes and I think we learnt ours! ie, not enough loadies to go around.

Only one loadie got laid off and I dont think you want your job back now do you JS??? Crossed over to the dark side!!!

Audreys Lackey well now your not at Channex anymore your aufully full of it considering you left us and not the other way around!

As for southern loadies we are still about and working ever so hard giving the green fin value for money its just a shame that there are not more of us!!!

Well we all have to get promoted or side shifted now dont we!

As for the interview if you get in the loadies here and most of the crew on the bus still are the channex family but you have big boots to fill if they did belong to JS

Oi pprune when we gettin spell check this is hurting me brain!!!!

i think one of the biggest problems you face will be the egos of PG MC and TL, if you can deal with these individuals im sure you'll be fine.

As for routes etc, you'll be spending a lot of your time flying over night parcels for the likes of UPS and TNT, interesting to start with if its yr 1st loadies job, however after a while the same bin / same weight / same destination scenario becomes a bit dull.

Not sure where else you could try, as everybody these days seems to either want widebody expereince or puts people in each station to 'dispatch' flights.

Best of luck

H46,
I'd of thought FDD might have commented!?

Shuperstar,
appreciate the kind words. You know how it was done, not nice.
After it happened I was very lucky. Check your PM's.

itsinthebox,
I could think of worse things to do. Made some good friends on the routes over the years. Time off's better than most. Good bunch to work with, including the "individuals" you mentioned.
