KLM Combi @ JNB
KLM said its Flight KL591 was robbed at gunpoint in Johannesburg Sept. 16. Police intervened and shots were exchanged but no passengers or flight and ground personnel sustained any injuries. The group of armed men struck while freight was being unloaded from the 747-400 Combi on the ramp. In response to the incident, KLM said it will review the procedures regarding all shipments of valuables to Johannesburg.
