ACE and DC-10's

Can anybody confirm that ACE (Allcanada express), an all freight carrier, is acquiring DC-10's and how many?

Are they to be used in support of the Air Canada contract? AC is getting rid of the 747 combos. If they are picking up the loss of cargo capacity at AC, where would they most likely be flying?

This rumor has been going around for years (1997?) they won't get them for probably another year - if at all. I can think of better aircraft for that mission though.

I only know of Toronto - Frankfurt that the AC 400 combies are doing.
