Ocean Airlines Rumor
Just heard from a pal that Southern Air has entered into contract with Ocean Air Italy to provide one wet lease 747 for six months to assist in their start up this April or May. They will be flying Italy to the far east and into Africa......

The rumor I've heard is that first 742F destined for delivery to Oceanic sometime in the Spring this year become a possible write-off because it fell from the jacks during preparation for heavy check @LHT. And LH is not ready to speedup the delivery of second airplane, which was originally scheduled for September.
