A little birdie at BOH tells me there has been some activity around the CL-44 Guppy the last couple of days.Is this anything to do with the launch of this new web site?

The Guppy is one of the many commercial operations in which the Association take an interest. The website does not represent any particular operator and is intended to include CL44 enthusiasts connected with the other 38 aircraft as well.

'As Association members know, the Guppy continues to await several spare parts that have proved to be extremely elusive to procure. Recent engine runs serve to ensure that the Tyne engines remain serviceable.
Once parts ARE received, it is expected that the aircraft will return to full serviceability soon and its future will be posted in the Association Newsletter. In the meantime, the Association can announce that it is in discussion with a former CL-44 operator to recover spare Tyne engines and parts with which to augment the Guppy's 'cupboard'.
Again, details are in the Association Newsletter-anyone wishing to join should contact [email protected].

Nineiron,
What do you mean by recovered engines?.
I would like to have a look around the CL-44 Guppy one day.
