Congratulations on the Lear job. That is wonderful.
I don't have any housing information; just safety information.
Don't get a crashpad too close to the airport or inside the I-240 loop. That area gets dangerous. Get a crashpad in one of the eastern suburbs such as Collierville or Germantown.
I assume you will be flying night cargo? Be very careful going from your apartment to your car. Your neighbors will figure out that you are a pilot and will get familiar with your schedule and could be lurking around at 2:00 a.m. as you go to work.
I lived in the area for a while and had some experience with crime and the Memphis police department.
Stay alert and stay safe.

...Or go south to Horn Lake, MS. 10 minutes from airport and not as expensive as Hooterville or Germantown.
And remember, pilots can't be armed if they're driving to jobs on airport property, a fact well known by local crack-heads.
