74 off at LGG

Just heard a CAL 74 overran the rwy at LGG last night/this morning. Anybody got any more gen?

Take a look at airliners.net and then select Liege/LGG.

I'm amazed the nose wheel has not sunk into the grass. weather was poor last night in Belgium. Is 23R still open? could have really screwed TNT's operation.

Sounds like the last time it's going to be bent, from what I've heard of the damage - it is pretty severe. Off the grass now and parked up awaiting the man with the briefcase.......

Wow they paint over the name fast. Looks like the paint crew was probably racing the emergency vehicles for first response honours.
