It still says in vol A..we have to wear black shoes, and socks..I trust we are all sporting our purple, red and green best!

flyingbynight 3rd March 2015 10:36

Ah to be 22 and spikey-haired! Sure beats being a balding 40-something.

ACMS 3rd March 2015 11:34

Haven't you all got better things to do?

Yep, go and polish your black shoes, because at the end of the day you still have your professional pride don't you???

monster330 3rd March 2015 14:35

Life (unknown as I went straight to Mong Kok) well travelled

:yuk::yuk::yuk::yuk::yuk:

AnAmusedReader 4th March 2015 03:23

we have to wear black shoes, and socks..

It just says "and socks"; doesn't say "black socks".

AnAmusedReader 4th March 2015 04:28

I suppose I had better read it sometime - wouldn't want to get into trouble over my blue socks - which go rather well with my well pressed trousers.

CPA777 4th March 2015 04:29

How about black stockings?

Yonosoy Marinero 4th March 2015 06:06

Do the socks need to be 100% nylon like the rest of the company-provided uniform?

cannot 4th March 2015 06:22

I think the disco lights on the suitcase wheels is a brilliant idea
The company does not provide suitcases for the cockpit crew, unlike the cabin crew, so they have no say over what we use
I would do it just to get under their skin,
so next time you fly with the individual please get the address of the shop in SFO
Remember how upset they became some years back with crew using multi coloured backpacks as flight bags this would drive them nuts

joblow 4th March 2015 06:26

Absolutely so they will melt on to your skin in a uniform manner along with your trousers if you should be unlucky enough to sustain a fire

Cafe City 4th March 2015 09:53

"...I could almost smell Mong Kok..."

Now THAT is funny.
I can't believe they left that in.

goathead 4th March 2015 10:23

Mr KA has true potential we have him set as a future DFO already he is perfect !

dogleg 4th March 2015 11:16

"...I could almost smell Mong Kok..."

WTF? What happened? Did they forget to service the lavs?

ByAirMail 5th March 2015 09:44

Mr KA will have to lift his act, the new Capt. RC has an inside track on him.

betpump5 5th March 2015 16:45

Mr KA (a union member) has only been upgraded 5 minutes ago and is now going after publicity.

Is there anyway to get this Muppet banned from the AOA. Along with those local clowns on the front cover of The magazine.

pasa001 5th March 2015 22:53

Attention whores all of them, makes me SICK!:ooh:

"I could almost smell Mong Kok..." ROFL:D:D:D

el commandante 6th March 2015 00:31

While I agree that KA and RC are complete tools, I somehow can't totally agree with those spiky hair (or better, the sides shaved) kids. That I call voluntary work to help the community. It's a bit on the cheesy side, yes, but still better than those self serving bricks signing up for yet another stupid ad campaign.
