CX leasing LHR slots to Emirates
So, it appears that CX does not have the capacity to operate all their slots at LHR. Therefore, they are leasing them to Emirates. An "own goal" if there ever was one. Yet another sign of the utter failure of CX management.

We are also throwing money at HK Airlines to use their 350 sim.

If they opened a base in LHR, they would be able to crew the slots no problem. Plenty of ex-cx crew floating about in the UK that would join again.
It only requires one thing: Reversing a decision made 2 years ago. |
