CX leasing LHR slots to Emirates

So, it appears that CX does not have the capacity to operate all their slots at LHR. Therefore, they are leasing them to Emirates. An "own goal" if there ever was one. Yet another sign of the utter failure of CX management.

If they opened a base in LHR, they would be able to crew the slots no problem. Plenty of ex-cx crew floating about in the UK that would join again.

It only requires one thing:

Reversing a decision made 2 years ago.

They won’t change that ever. When it comes to bases and all things operations related, it’s alway set in stone.

Which is a far superior product than the couple of cheapo knockoffs CX bought. Pilots using it will be pleased.

Perhaps they should also come with a CV in hand and pop over to HR to drop it in.
