Shut the Airline down. There are more jobs... You'll all just have to get off your lazy arse's and make half a effort. You've all got Stockholm Syndrome. I can't wait to see CX burn. |
I left mate.
You twats stayed and accepted the continuing crap COS, AT, and the rest of it. I'm thankfully for my time, and selling my Conduit road flat at the peak; but the excuse I continue to hear sicken me. There is life outside CX. Even this BA Hostie had enough conviction to walk. I dare say more most reading this post. https://www.independent.co.uk/voices...-a9071141.html Life isn't money, 5 houses, and private schools. Life is time. Time with wife/kids/clean air/ freedom of thought/ a meaningful occupation. |
You say you quit but here you are. Still in HK. Still foaming-at-the-mouth ranting on PPrune. Why is that?

Some people just aren’t suited to Cathay....... They should accept it and move on..... |

Hong Kong has a surprising number of opportunities outside Cathay. A whole gang of us are in corporate, HKA, or even commuting to other jobs as HK has become home. Sorry gents.. last I'll say on the matter, but that BA Hostie has more balls than the lot of you still bending over for that pineapple. |

Yes, the 14 years I spent and the upgrade with tyrannical star chamber is proof I didn't belong. The chest beating on this forum is over whelming.

But the real giveaway is the BA hostie thing and Conduit Road, where the hell did the relevance of these come from? In any case Conduit Road is mid levels, but the peak sounds cool. . |

For years there's been nothing but constant advice from the regular keyboard warriors on how this ship is rudderless and is sinking fast, get out, get out while you can...blah blah blah. But then when a former colleague that has voted with his feet is straight up and blunt on this forum, he's quickly berated because the truth obviously touches a nerve. It really doesn't surprise me though, I've seen enough two faced spineless pilots at CX to last me a lifetime.

When someone vents off about having left, they get jumped on by those who constantly moan about CX, yet still work at CX. These same people then defend CX by saying that the OP is not 'cut out' for Cathay! I have to admit I find the dichotomy hard to understand. Standing by to be told I'm generation X, have shiny jet syndrome or simply not intelligent enough to understand... or any of the other stock responses! |
