Did he snatch anything else?

Shep69 17th Sep 2016 01:39

Dunno ...... But he certainly became a lightening rod for wise cracks

At least ace detectives Randy Peter, Seymour Busch, and Major Lee Hung have teamed up to get to the bottom of things.

Cpt. Underpants 17th Sep 2016 02:04

I'll wager his legal team are beavering away on a defence.

He speaks quietly so they will have to lip read

I think it's a more hairy issue than most of you realise.

A thread on Upskirts created by an Oval3Holer?

FlexibleResponse 18th Sep 2016 08:31

I think reporter Danny Mok's headline of "snapping upskirt photos" was very thoughtful as well...

I'm disappointed about the smart-assed snide remarks.

If proven, the guy is a f@cking pervert, and needs to be made an example of. Cathay trying to keep it under wraps and deal with it quietly is also indefensible. Imagine if your daughter (or mother or sister) was the target. It's not just the act itself, but the fact that was allegedly done by a senior manager which brings s dimension of power into the equation. You are less likely to report it if you fear that the management will circle the wagons and defend the cadre (as appears to be the case here). This aspect makes it all the more reprehensible.

Curtain rod 18th Sep 2016 10:24

OH lighten up. We all know it's wrong, illegal, stupid, weird, etc....but nobody was hurt, it's not that big a deal, we're surrounded by perverts and freaks and deviants everywhere we go, even in flight/at work/etc., and the world keeps turning just fine. An hour spent on the internet will probably make you realize that you're the weirdo, since everyone else is doing all kinds of weird stuff you never thought of.

When everyone stops laughing at every video of some actor or dad getting kicked in the balls, we'll worry about blowing off steam and pushing the PC envelope now and then with some harmless joking around.

FlexibleResponse 18th Sep 2016 10:33

The female colleague is not been identified, so could not possibly take personal offence.

The male suspect had two photos of the victim on his camera as reported by the Police, so is likely very guilty and should be justly punished.

So why is PC outrageous indignation being expressed here?

She is identified to be pregnant by the news.
He might be into bumps.

I don't think you guys get it...
It's not about somebody looking at photos of a lady's gusset. FFS it's hard to pick up any newspaper or magazine without seeing suchlike.

It IS about abuse of power. Somebody in a position of power took photos up the skirt of a 'subordinate' colleague in the workplace in the mistaken belief that she would say nothing out of shame and fear of retribution, and that he would be protected by his position (which would have been the case if she did as instructed by the company).
The fact that she was pregnant cabin crew makes things worse; in a decent civilized society we try not to exert psychological stress on pregnant ladies.
If you fail to recognize this you are probably part of the problem yourself.

ZH875 18th Sep 2016 13:29

I hope the Police get it sorted quick and don't fanny around.

Ermmm... how did they know it was her? :E

I'll tell you why there's no outrage: no one is even slightly surprised to hear that kind of news. When you've been managed by these clowns for a few years, what should come across as unacceptable human behavior anywhere else generates little other than jaded lassitude here.

I'd rather congratulate the victim who had the fortitude to tell on that pr*ck. I bet he was surprised when, upon gazing at his photographic masterpiece, he saw a pair bigger than his...
