HX get a nice resort don't they???

Soul planet 24th Jul 2013 00:28

Fact of the day: they dont even have uniform laundry service

Soul planet 24th Jul 2013 06:40

By the way, with only 4 flights weekly and the massive influx of mainland tourists, do you think your ID90 with your seniority even stand a chance getting you to Male? Wake up folks

There is never any thinking involved:ugh:in the planning:ugh:
Its definitely a case of HKA go there so should we:confused:

I remember reading in a CX News about 8 years ago that CX had the rights for Hawaii, but don't want to go there because they think it won't make much profit:sad:
But I guess watch this space when/if "Hawaiian Airlines" ever does direct service to HKG?:cool:

They are going daily to TPE later this year, with A330s.

They actually only operate three times a week. Looking at their web site they started the service on the 9th July. Maybe later this year they are going daily?;)

CX to HNL...

Aloha,

Not sure if CX has a spare 777 for a HNL service...in a 330-300 it would be barely feasable unless with a tech stop...

Not sure if CX has a spare 777 for a HNL service...the 330-300 certainly can't do it unless with a tech stop...
It can, CX have operated HKG-AKL with the A330-300 before. The real problem is no crew rest, not range.

...and payload...

I'd suspect it'd be only limiting on Airbus coming back into the wind. Trip times to HNL should be in the order of 9 hrs , 11-12 on return leg during winter.
