Cathay Direct Entry Commands
That, or our IT dept is in need of some help!
OK, I'll bite....
What's going on this time? |
Old rubbish....
Put there I imagine to allow them to take the Oasis and Dragonair guys into the LHS. |
If they offered an appropriate contract for new hires in HK, they might have been able to fill a few of the 300+ positions that CX is short. No new bodies in the bottom means they can't afford to move guys through the process. No new SO's eventually means no new CN's as there is nobody to replace you as you move up.
Can you say CC? |
This is a new posting for DEC (refreshed at least!)
Absolutely no excuse for this. If we start hiring and training DECs, the wheels had better stop turning at this place or we will prove once and for all how truly spineless we are as a pilot group. AOA will have no excuse for non-action.
Don't worry guys, they agreed to no more freighter commands, so this must be a mistake. :hmm:
if this is a mistake, they went to great lengths to make it 2012 right.
employed by wholly owned subsidiaries An applicant must possess the right to live and work in the chosen Base Area. The Company will not sponsor applications to immigration authorities for Flight Crew to live and work in any port other than Hong Kong. |
From the base area page on the CX website.....
Rapid Command vacancies currently exist in Frankfurt and Manchester. |
Nope, G day workers will be collecting their 2.5% and training their replacements at the same time!!! :yuk::yuk::yuk:
It already did. CC called me to pick up a flight, and I informed them as long as they are hiring DEC, they dont need my help!
Walkin the walk.:ok: |
Doubt that jizz!:8
Thanks Jizz.... first time I've had a laugh at PPRuNe for a while
It's not "direct" entry command, it's "rapid" entry command.
They'll just tell the guys they have to join as F/O (or S/O), without ever getting housing, then they'll fail their "rapid" command course, and voila, how you get cheap new experienced F/O's. |
We have 100's of Cat A's waiting for these slots. Talk about the gloves coming off.....
This whole scheme is fine, just give every single pilot bypass pay.....:ugh: |
The extreme likelihood of extension to age 67 (and possibly older) , very shortly, will buy the company breathing space. It all depends on the speed at which ICAO moves to implement it
The link has been removed from the website, first officer is still there but does not work. Lets hope it was a mistake and the old Oasis link that was wrongly placed on there during the site update.
Ok it is still there, not on the careers home but if you click on
Agreed. Hoping it is an IT flub. Big flub though. IT needs some help....and some new printers for dispatch would be great too!
67 years retirement, I can hardly wait.
As if 64 and change wasn't scary enough...
You guys sure get worked up over an old webpage link that wasn't deleted from the host directory! If you go to careers now there's no way to get to that page. The only way to do so is if you had known the link in advance.
Obviously, an IT mistake. Chill... |
