Mainland Adults Bullying Young White Kid

Not sure what the circumstances are here, if the young boy has been caught doing something wrong or if they are taking some kind of revenge.

I know it is not aviation related but interesting insight into the mentality of our mainland cousins across the border.

Reminds me of my JFO upgrade!

turnandburn 20th Jul 2011 03:34

the more mainlanders they execute that do those things the better

Max Reheat 20th Jul 2011 04:00

Jizz... totally agree, I turned it off after a couple of moments. What if it was one of our kids?

It doesn't change anything, but is the kid not chinese?

FR8R H8R 20th Jul 2011 04:08

Tough Guy!

I'd like to have 5 minutes alone with mr. striped jacket or, alternatively, with the mrs. horse teeth. It takes a tough group of people to beat on a kid. Whether he deserved it or not makes no difference. ******* people like this are one of the reason the planet is screwed.

Video Bio From Live Leak

This is the video Bio from Live Leak

Innocent white kid gets his hand crushed in China for being white.

Apparently, the white boy was in the wrong country.
Treat the non-whites in white countries like kings and queens but don't receive the same treatment in their country, a bit funny, isn't it?
The poor little kid... If I knew who he was, I would raise him, I'm still not sure if he's dead or alive, such a poor kid... another kid bites the dust from non-whites action as always.

EDIT: He is white, why does people get upset when I mention the word WHITE? This is life, accept it.

The Chinese people are saying "white boy, go home, go away".

SMOC 20th Jul 2011 04:53

Appalling, gutless pricks!

Apple users: []http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=1a7_1311109738[]

Poor kid knows not to take his eyes of the striped jacket low life.

scavengepump 20th Jul 2011 04:54

bunch of fu**$$g animals.......in fact no, that would be insulting animals......:yuk:

AAIGUY 20th Jul 2011 05:36

F*cking savages.

to harass a child that way

Disgusting people. Just f*cking disgusting.

WhatThe? 20th Jul 2011 05:41

Well i am truly disgusted. Couldn't get that out of my head. Poor kid.

Did this happen in HK? And if someone could please keep us updated as new details come out. I'm not from over there, and i would bet you a million dollars this doesn't show up on Vancouver TV.

Thanks,

Sad Dad of 2.

Maid Day 20th Jul 2011 06:16

Most places in this world you would find individuals defending the child, it is an embarrassment to the Chinese race that so few people have the courage to speak up or take action. Surely people witnessing the event would be thinking "stop that man!?" Hmmm, for some reason, I doubt it. Even other species will protect a other than their own offspring!! Hope the government sees this as a positive display of media attention and make an example of the people involved.

Ace Man 20th Jul 2011 06:47

So, where is the kids parents?

stilton 20th Jul 2011 08:39

I hope this poor kid was rescued from those heartless f*cking bastards.

That is the most horrifying thing i have ever seen.

OldChinaHand 20th Jul 2011 08:42

It would be no surprise to discover that the Animal beating and harrassing this kid was Police on some other Government official. Does it really matter what colour or ethnic background the kid was from?, it still inhuman and against abhorrent to all right minded people.

Bob Hawke 20th Jul 2011 09:24

That's right, irrespective of the ethnicity of the child it is a disgrace to those people who perpetuated this behaviour and more so those that stood by and watched without intervention.

I personally hope this video goes viral and results in those responsible being tracked down and dealt with as they should be, due to the embarrassment it should bring to that Government.

Bring it on!

AGNES 20th Jul 2011 09:58

This was the result of the economic reform. The reform was a great success but it ended up with a large bunch of money orientated, uncivilized and uneducated mainlanders.

China has the things like the longest bridges, the largest airports, the tallest buildings, the fastest high speed rails, etc etc etc. But so what, just look at the people, sigh.

Outtahere 20th Jul 2011 10:09

And the airlines are salivating because these sort of people want to experience the outside world.

Air Profit 20th Jul 2011 10:32

I am truly shocked by this video. How can anyone treat a terrified child that way. There is surely a special place in hell for those people. This video needs to go viral in the biggest way. I hope someone with better technical skills than I can get this to YouTube. This has really left me shaken....

Toruk Macto 20th Jul 2011 10:34

Sick *****, still shaking after 10 mins.

From a distance 20th Jul 2011 10:52

Totally agree with the sentiments expressed in this thread. My initial reaction was could this be an Uyghur boy from the Xinjiang region. Genetically the Uyghurs have 60% European ancestry and might account for his European appearance.

Ethnic violence reported by reuters a few days ago. Perhaps this young boy got caught up by the events.

China raises death toll to 18 in Xinjiang violence | Reuters

I hope this boy is now safe. Rise up my son and smite the hand of the oppressor.

eternity 20th Jul 2011 10:54

That was truly horrendous - I kept watching because I was hoping to at least see some form of positive conclusion like the child being carried away to safety. Unfortunately I didnt get to see that.

I am a big mean guy that has worked the doors of some of the roughest bars in Oz for flying training money. I've seen shootings, stabbings, had knives pulled on me and have been in some very nasty brawls with some real hard chaps.........but that video..........I'm still shaking like a leaf.

I used to live in mainland China, specifically Shijiazhuang and Baotou (near Beijing and nth west China respectively), and I never witnessed anything such as that. To imagine that other adults would stand there and not intervene is something that I truly cannot comprehend.

Does anyone have any info as to where (province) that this occurred or may have occurred???

Basil 20th Jul 2011 11:09

There's always a reason - whether it's a good reason is another thing.
Big brave Stripey standing on his hand may be a clue. Had he been caught nicking?

I was once surrounded by Gypsy kids in Rome trying to mob me and pick my pockets. They beat it when I shouted at them. If they hadn't I wouldn't have hesitated to whack them.

Air Profit 20th Jul 2011 11:29

Basil. Not quite sure how to interpret your comments. My gut feeling is you need a bit of a wake up call.

From a distance 20th Jul 2011 11:31

I appreciate there may have been a cause however if there is any substance to my suspisions that it is an Uyghur boy keep in mind that economic growth in Xianging has been accompanied by mass immigration by Han Chinese people and increasing unemployment for the Uyghur.
In a country with perhaps unemployed parents and no social security safety net, that boys situation is different from the professional gypsy gangs in Rome and elsewhere.

Basil 20th Jul 2011 11:32

Air Profit,

Basil. Not quite sure how to interpret your comments. My gut feeling is you need a bit of a wake up call.
Not from you, fella, not from you.

Parapunter 20th Jul 2011 11:41

From someone then.

Basil, the arrogance (Not from you fella, not from you) is as breathtaking as the justification you offer. There is no justification.

Pretty tough guys knocking around a kid who's two feet tall.

Air Profit 20th Jul 2011 11:41

ooohhh, quaking.

Air Profit 20th Jul 2011 11:45

I'm trying to imagine this happening anywhere else in the world. The only place that I could conceive of this mindless cruelty is deepest darkest tribal Africa. That boy was in fear of his very life....and the 'adults' that subjected him to it are beyond comprehension. I will never look at the Chinese the same way again. I hope this becomes a VERY big story soon.

Basil 20th Jul 2011 11:52

OK, I'll explain just this once for those of you who place your own interpretation on others postings.
1. I agree that it was a disgusting and troubling sight as most have said. Had I disagreed I'd have said so.
2. I made no attempt to justify the action.
3. I stand by my original posting.
4. "you need a bit of a wake up call" seems to me to be an arrogant personal attack. Don't do it again!

lemondog 20th Jul 2011 11:56

That is one of the worst things I have ever seen. If the moderators could forward it to the relevant authorities, media lobby groups etc. It's disgusting. Having known some mainlanders I know there are people in china who would be equally disgusted. Physical child abuse is something that no one on this planet has a right to inflict on another person. If you want to make the comment and make a joke that it "was like my JFO training" I can understand rash off the cuff comments but this is serious. It's someone's life which any of us could have been born into. Not everything is up for a laugh.
Very sad, lemondog.

Air Profit 20th Jul 2011 12:34

You're a real piece of work Basil. A joy to fly with no doubt.

TWT 20th Jul 2011 12:59

The cops in Brazil have been known to shoot homeless kids like vermin,I wish these things didn't happen but ...they do.

Iron Skillet 20th Jul 2011 13:41

It is very disturbing and absolutely wrong and unconscionable.

However, this incident is extremely minor compared to unimaginable suffering caused by thousands of years of organized mental abuse, brainwashing, physical abuse, torture, assault and sexual assault of men, women, boys, girls and very young children, all over the world, by those running religions or using religions as justification.

It is not just the Roman Catholics that are famous for ruining countless lives by using their evil tactics and power to rape boys, enabled by the money given by their followers to cover it up, protect the offenders and allow them to continue. The vast groups of victims of faith-based offenders is beyond comprehension.

The oppression, torture and abuse against females and certain races often makes the headlines of history, but take a look around the Islamic, Jewish, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist and Shinto worlds, to name but a few, to see every type of abuse of males and females, young and old, of all races and ages and cultures, with everything from slavery to circumcision to honour killings to Nazi sympathizers to Crusade-based genocide to ethnic cleansing by gang rape to sending young men into horrendous combat, all in the name of god.

What exactly will it take to get people to see what is still going on today, almost everywhere?

Gigaboomer 20th Jul 2011 15:23

Are you serious Iron? I'm not sure what this thread is doing on an aviation forum in the first place but since you raise your somewhat biased view, as a concerned Christian I can't help but comment. May I suggest that the abuse by what you call 'religion' is really just a result of our fallen human nature coupled with power and greed. I agree that all religions are guilty, and this certainly includes the religion of Secular Humanism. Just look at Stalin, Hitler and Mao to get some idea of what human nature is capable of without the restraint of real morality.

And while we are talking of morality, I can't help but wonder what humanists are thinking when they talk about ethics or morals without God. If there is no moral law maker above man then it simply becomes a matter of opinion. You may think that what happened in that video was 'disturbing and absolutely wrong and unconscionable' but clearly the people involved didn't. So who is right Iron, you or them? If it is you then why? Don't get me wrong I certainly agree, although I haven't actually viewed the video and probably won't, but I agree because God's morality says so, not because of what I think or what you think.

Ultimately what Jesus actually taught is in total opposition to this kind of behavior and if you would care to look the bible actually describes the reality of our fallen world very accurately, and with respect, this includes attitudes like yours. Real Christianity is not a 'religion' but a personal relationship with the real Jesus Christ. But of course this is nothing new, mankind has been rejecting God and doing his own thing from the beginning. God bless.

Kontract Killer 20th Jul 2011 15:29

A walk around Harbour City on a weekend will show you exactly what kind of people the citizens of PRC are.

The most arrogant, rude, ignorant, selfish, stupid and ugliest race of people to inhabit this planet.

Fortunately, their own greed will be be their eventual downfall :D

Air Profit 20th Jul 2011 16:39

Gigaboomer. Yes, God Bless.

flapsupdown 20th Jul 2011 17:03

While I cannot disagree with the general feelings expressed about the video in this thread, I just want to make sure we don't say anything racist or make over-generalizations - which would morally bring us to the same level as the adults in the video.

yes, there are no excuses nor justifications for that

yes, that was f-ing disgusting and wrong on so many levels

I too gave been around HK and seen these arrogant, rude and disgusting tourists....

but we cannot let this be a representation of all of the chinese people or think that everybody from china is like this. Im sure just like in Europe and America there are good people and then there are people who ared really f?*ked in the head...

anyways just wanted to share my thoughts before this thread turns into a racist one...

but anyways...continuing with the topic, I too hope there is a place in hell for people like this

Sqwak7700 20th Jul 2011 17:05

If your moral compass is so weak that you need "a higher power" to tell you that what is happening to that poor child is wrong then you are no different than those people sitting there watching indifferently.

Empathy for a suffering creature has nothing to do with religion. If anything, the lack of religion frees you from caring ONLY for those of your kind but for EVERYONE, regardless of faith.

And before you tell me that personal religion and organized religion are two different things, I ask you - how come more followers don't speak out against their own organizations when they commit atrocities?

But anyway, we digress into the argument that religion = morality; we will never reach agreement. What we can agree on is that the video is disturbing and we would love to spend just 5 minutes alone in a room with that douche-bag.

But let's not paint a whole race with one wide brush. There are a-holes everywhere and just about all cultures have done much worse to much younger.

19weeler 20th Jul 2011 18:58

Gigaboomer:

The insinuation that humans cannot be moral (or "real morality" as you put it) without religion, is offensive and naive.

You mention Hitler, Mao and Stalin - the regimes of these demagogues were religions in themselves.
None of their atrocities were committed in the name of atheism. Unlike the crusades, suicide bombing, genital mutilation, etc. (the list is long) which were, and still are committed in the name of religion.
Also, Hitler was a catholic and 99% of his soldiers were christian.

Giga - if you were born in Saudi Arabia, the fairy tale you believe in would be a completely different one than your current.

"Since it is obviously inconceivable that all religions can be right, the most reasonable conclusion is that they are all wrong" - CH

PS. Atrocious behavior by adults against a child. This is not a race issue, it happens all over the world.
