BEIJING, China (AP) -- Chinese gymnasts,

He Kexin, the Beijing Olympics Gold medal winner is in doubt due to her age.

http://i.cdn.turner.com/cnn/.element...er_wire_BL.gif

Several online records and reports show that He Kexin, the host nation's top competitor on uneven bars, and Jiang Yuyuan was born in 1994, making them to young to be eligible for the Olympics

Typical..

Lying, spitting, farting bunch of goons and thugs!!!

priapism 21st Aug 2008 22:16

Sly liars and cheats -the farcical thing about the gymnasts is that the records on the Chinese National Gymnastcs Register showing the 14 year old's actual date of birth were taken from a domestic competition she competed in in 2006 as a young hopeful. Once the site was hacked in to and the records made public, the information regarding the athlete's participation in the 2006 competition has now been removed.

The Chinese over here in oz claim that she must be 15, turning 16 this year because her passport which was required to be produced prior to the olympics says so!!!

It doesn't matter though- all this controversy will be kept from the population via heavy censorship.

I'll say it again - these Olypics are just like a party in a prison.

kuntakinte 22nd Aug 2008 01:00

Bigots...please do boycott the Olympics! Drug and steroid pumped up bodies all over.......stop taking those stuff and you still have herculean bodies to do the labours of winning against those naturally nourished bodies of the third world. Now, now, now, ivory coloured bigots are gonna question lightning Bolt's wins and those of the Jamaican wonders. However barely a squeak of an insinuation about those sculptured beefy slabs of meaty robots raking up the swimming golds. Tsk, tsk

Lying, spitting, farting bunch of goons and thugs.

I see these behaviour and types of people everywhere I go in the world. It's fair enough for anyone to talk about what the Chinese do that are unbecoming in the modern world, I actually think the 'face losing' expose helps some of my compatriots to change their ways. But in your overzealous bashing of a whole nation of people, try to stick to behaviour and characteristics that are exclusive to them in your generalisation.

Slapfaan and others, I am not trying to defending the types of behaviour people are only too keen to list here. But as you engage in an indiscriminate attack on the Chinese people, you should ask yourselves if your criticisms of a people also apply elsewhere.

kuntakinte 23rd Aug 2008 12:19

The Chinese army should march down to HKG and rid this fragrant place of all the western bigots, period!

BusyB 23rd Aug 2008 13:07

If they got rid of all the bigots of ALL races they'd be doing us all a favour:ok:

Super Drive 23rd Aug 2008 16:27

All olympians have to be aged 16 or above? How come a British diver aged 14 can compete in the olympics?

Correct me if i'm wrong.

BusyB 23rd Aug 2008 19:37

You're wrong, that age only applies to gymnastics. Different limits for boxing, swimming etc.:ok:

bungacengkeh 24th Aug 2008 06:14

These age rules are indeed different; all designed to benefit beefy slabs of meat type. Like wise rule changes in field hockey, badminton, etc are all done to benefit the occident ( with the flimsy reasons that they are needed to capture more spectators and new equipments like astroturf, etc ). All the talk of fair play and crowing in the " mass media ' about openness and transparency are ways to hypnotically hoodwink the self righteous believers of so called " freedom ". Fellas, you ain't free.......you just think you are free with the constant bombardment of CNN, BBC, other " freeworld " mass media which have subliminally captured your subconscious.

Of course the communist and other dictatorial regimes like China, North Korea etc uses the media as propaganda tools........we all know that, so we are wary of their official pronouncements. As for the so called " free " western press, the perception that they aree " free " LULL the general public to accept wholesale what is dished out, subliminally accepting the hidden agenda of the powerful so called " industrial-military-pharma " interests which are the real shadowy power behind geopilitical upheavals.

At least the scoring has been fair, the Egan/Zhang fight being a perfect example!

An Unqualified Triumph:

Take a bow China; An unqualified triumph capped on the final day by a Chinese gold, silver and bronze all from the one event. An occasion of special merit that had three proud young ladies singing their national athem in unison as three identical red flags rose together above the rostrum. A magical moment and a fitting climax that somehow said it all.

There are those who will call it a Pyrrhic victory but they are wrong. To China it is affordable, something the British will be hard pressed to say in four years' time.

NOT!! Chinese ship with weapons for Robert Mugabe intercepted of the African coast days before the Olympic's. Chinese hardware and military advisers seized in Darfur, Sudan.

Lip synching happens at most American sports events (i.e. the superbowl). What's the big deal?

AGNES 25th Aug 2008 02:13

Beijing, thank you for a job well done.London, it's your turn!

priapism 25th Aug 2008 07:20

Update on the Chinese underage gymnasts.

It has been confirmed that two of them must certainly be under the age of 16 as they were seen leaving the venue with Gary Glitter!!!

kuntakinte 25th Aug 2008 23:51

Gary Glitter.....God of Good Old Britannia

Did he transit thru HKG , PEK or BKK? Glittering gold pickings!
