CX profit share

So were gonna announce a big profit this week, whats the rumours on the staff profit share.

Last year was 6K plus 6 days. any advances. With the CX party at wanchai comming up, do you really think we will stretch to two weeks 2 days and 2 mins bonus.

Reading the weekly blackmail, makes you wonder if we will even get anything

Busbert 2nd Mar 2008 04:45

Rumour has it
The lesser of
Three months or
$4200

Mr. Bloggs 2nd Mar 2008 05:14

Two Months or Two Days or $2000 HKD whichever is less.:ok:

cpdude 2nd Mar 2008 06:12

This just in....

Profit share...what is that?:}

The Rip 2nd Mar 2008 07:48

http://www.thestandard.com.hk/news_d...=20080303&fc=1

GUess with this record profit, we will get nothing, seeing that our profit share seems to be indirectly proportional to profit.

wahahahahaha:ok:

sawadecup 3rd Mar 2008 03:58

some guys said 2 months(impossible to me), some said 6 weeks(too genours for CX), some said 2 weeks +6k(sound reasonable), some said 6 days(that's maybe the reality).... so much for a hugh company like CX. :hmm:

dragon501 3rd Mar 2008 04:58

I expect to get nothing so if it does come it's gonna be a big one!!!!!!!

And is CX a:

'Hugh" company? (the playboy mansions Hugh)

Hug company? (cuddles for everyone)

Huge company? (big)

:8:8:8

Arfur Dent 4th Mar 2008 07:48

The Management said 4.5 days. He's gone very quiet as 'they' shoot themselves in the chest. Let's see if he really is 'up there'. Personally I think he's just a stirrer from the lower ranks of CX (ie Management!).

cpdude 4th Mar 2008 09:08

2 months plus 6K HKD...IMO!

CX really needs us onside and a few bucks now is a small price to pay.

dragon501 4th Mar 2008 09:43

Paper today, Hang Seng (I believe it was..) 14 months...

FOURTEEN MONTHS.................................. Thats would stop the whinging (for about a day or two but still....;-))

Numero Crunchero 4th Mar 2008 09:55

I cut open a chicken and the entrails told me 16 days and $6,000

HaveQuick 4th Mar 2008 10:21

profit share

"I cut open a chicken and the entrails told me 16 days and $6,000"......

Unless you are a Director that will get 110% of his salary....

:ugh:  :{ := :ok: :} (take your pick)

womble006 4th Mar 2008 11:49

HAECO in Xmien got 2 years bonus. ( I know but its still 2 years ) .

hongkongpilot 4th Mar 2008 15:00

:DI guess it'd be $6000 + 8 days.

BenCLR8 5th Mar 2008 03:56

Profit share bonus

I am honestly lost for words...........I don't ever remember getting anything over and above in this company.

All I can say is .......Thank you.

It's a relatively small token gesture but I certainly appreciate it.

cykalan 5th Mar 2008 04:12

haha..this is unbelievable..for once, guess i should say thanks to this company too!

seriously..i am surprised! (or was it becuase we've been so disappointed in the last few years? :})

yes i agree too it's a small token, but hopefully it's on a upward trend

at first read i thought it is 1.5 months or $6000 whichever is less :E

freightdog188 5th Mar 2008 04:23

not bad at all. I'm surprised. Positively, for once.

@ Numero Crunchero:
next year take a whole chicken for the entrail readings, not the frozen halves from the supermarket ;)

Ballistic Amah 5th Mar 2008 04:24

You know fellas you should really be grateful for the invitation to the gala dinner. I mean how else can they show their appreciation for our efforts to achieve the profits? C'mon now, lets for slurp up that shark's fin!:D

Near Miss 5th Mar 2008 04:58

Hey Freightdog188, Numero Crunchero was pretty much spot on. 16.5 days plus + $6000 (or half month whichever is less). But what the entrails didn't tell him was the CEO being more generous than what the formula entitles. Very impressive. :D

Is the one month pay based on March 08 or Dec 07? Dec saves them 3%. Either way I am happy with the announcement. Now we just have to get a bigger payrise out of them (without giving up anything of course).
