Cathay back to normal by September

From today's SCMP:

Cathay Pacific will reach 90 per cent of its normal operating capacity next month and return to a full schedule by the end of September, the airline said yesterday.
Most of the flights resuming will be within Asia. For example, the number of flights to Taipei each week will increase from the present 56 to 88 next month, while Seoul flights will rise from 21 to 28 a week.

A second daily flight will be restored next month on the routes serving Vancouver and Sydney. Three services a day to London will operate from August 18.

More flights will operate to Cathay's Japanese destinations, with 28 services to Tokyo and 25 to Osaka every week.

"It is summer season now and we are restoring more flights to meet the needs of the travelling public as demanded," said the airline's general manager, Ian Shiu.

Cathay still intended to operate a full schedule by the end of September even though it was difficult to anticipate demand after the summer peak, he added.

Danger Define Please !

What a lovely little bit of propaganda !!

What is NORMAL ???

- Management & Pilots will not cooperate
- Newspapers always deriding the lack of communication
- Unhappy Aircrew
- Unresolved contractual abuses
- Abuse of new joiners by their 'Mates' on the flight deck

Makes you want to !!!

If this Safety compromise at CX is normal then you can preen & strut all you like ........

But as the old adage goes......

"If it smells like s***, looks like s*** & tastes like s***; then it is s*** "

Chill out Capt,

Surely, I can't be the only one to be relieved that the pax figures are increasing.

We all know theres problems, there is in every department at CX, but now is not the time.
