Living in Hong Kong

Is there any quiet area, with nice landscapes, parks, Nature (forests or whatever), any residencial area (not mega expensive), in the surroundings of Hong Kong? What about Taipei? Thanks.

If you think for a minute that Taipei is a "quiet area, with nice landscapes, parks, Nature " or even geographically viable as a commute for Hong Kong then I suspect your mark on your geography final at high school wasn't all that brilliant.

Hong Kong has many parks, nature reserves and attractive areas that are designated recreational. About 70% of Hong Kong is park land. Much of the park land has been under threat of development recently.

In HK, there is a beautiful area called Sai Kung. On the water, with nice parks, trails etc... Lots of expats and nice places to live. Not an easy commute to the city center (Central) but if you have a vehicle, you can get to the airport in about 35 mins.

Hope this helps
