Question VHHH Landing Runway

I'll be flying into VHHH next Saturday and was wondering what landing direction could possibly be expected around 1800 local? 25R or 07L? (Assuming normal weather for that time of day)

Thanks

That's what you call forward planning. It was 07L when I went past on the bus about an hour ago. Winds are usually easterly this time of year so more likely to be 07L. If you're a freighter they will probably put you on 07R as it's a short taxy to the ramp.

If you want to make the front page of the SCMP try 13...which actually is the best bet at this time of the year...apart from the big XXX !! Also might give the Aero Club a new lease of life.

Whatever...have a safe trip and hope the wind shifts to the west so you can at least get a look at the old place on the way in to 25R.

But of you are panning so far ahead plan for 07L.

If you're worried about the windshear give it away. If you're RHS expect the palm off...bit around at the moment.
