No he is not type rated nor does he have any Airbus time. He has lots of time in the left seat of Dash 8's and Avro RJ series aircraft though. I think he said he had close to 7000 hours of total time.

Hi gentlemen, I just wanted to know what the criterias are that KA's looking for. Where can I apply and who to contact. I am current on the 747-400 with 3000 hours on equipment and a total of 6000 hours. Any help will be appreciated.

Min 3000hrs (as 2800 are required to convert a foreign ATPL to a HK ATPL), 500hrs jet.

and also, proficiency in english, written and oral.
age would also be a factor, not to mention the composition of your 6000hrs total, and your 3000hrs on the 744. good luck.
