Application in File ??
Just got a letter from CX saying your application for SO is in file.
Can someone help to explain what does that mean?? An interview on the way or ???

They have you on file and whenever a slot opens for an Interview,they will call you.I had to wait 8 months before"being on file" and interview call.In my case,I was sent an email for the First Interview and then called by a Recruitment Officer to inform me two weeks later that I had been successful.
