Direct entry 330 F/O' s starting this month.
First of quite a few.
KIck in the teeth for long-term S/O's ?

Why would it be? There have been DEFO for a while. They knew what they were up against. Have to remember that the Long-Term non-PR SO's are probably coming up to their 5th year visa renewal (2nd renewal) and won't be able to work anymore. This is the reality of the situation that has occurred.

If you were told 2.5 years to upgrade and it is already double that time with no end in sight then I doubt you care anymore or have any teeth left.
