CX 744 engine failure on departure

Anyone know anything about this? Sounds like it was well handled.

Hong Kong (dpa) - A Cathay Pacific passenger jet with 378 people on board was forced to make an emergency landing shortly after takeoff from Hong Kong International Airport on Friday evening when its engine failed, the airline said.
The Boeing 747-400 had taken off on a flight bound for San
Francisco when the pilot had to shut down one of its four engines, a spokeswoman for the Hong Kong-based airline said.
He then dumped the fuel load at sea before landing safely back at Hong Kong International Airport shortly after 7pm, she said.
The spokeswoman was unable to confirm reports that air traffic
controllers saw a fire in one of the engines upon takeoff.
"There is no information regarding what caused the engine shutdown at this moment. We are checking that,'' she said.
Passengers were transferred to another plane which was due to leave Hong Kong at around 10pm Friday evening. dpa hp pmc
