Heartfelt condolences to Ken's Family and Friends. Ken was an absolute gentleman, an excellent aviator and a great Friend for those that were privileged to know him.
RIP Ken; you've left us too soon.

My condolences to Ken’s family. An absolute gentleman and a talented aviator that I was privileged to have flown with many times on the 744. Always ready with a smile and banter, he will be missed. God speed Ken.
My condolences to Kens family and friends. He would always help out if anyone needed any sort of assistance and I am inspired by his fight against his cancer for so long.
RIP Ken

Ken was a consummate professional and also just a really nice bloke. I had many trips down route from the Fragrant Harbour with Captain Sherwood and enjoyed every one of them. Very sad day.

Very sorry to hear this. Spent many a late night in the old Dakota bar with Ken cooling heels and sorting out the world’s problems. I trust he’s in a far better place now. God speed.

Flew with him on the Jumbo, great guy and excellent captain. I particularly remember his thick scottish accent and sense of humor.
Too soon of course but wishing him well in the eternal skies.

When I joined CX 30 years ago, the airline had a reputation for employing some captains who had little regard for concepts such as CRM. Although this rang true for me with some of the captains I flew with, a large number of the “old CX” captains I had the pleasure of flying with were first class blokes. I have nothing but very fond memories of flying with Ken and some other very fine gentleman...Mike Miller for instance.
RIP Ken and Mike.

Ken , a lovely and great guy. Mike Miller also. Both very sadly missed. Halcyon days in old Kai Tak. What a shame.
