Management RP deal shows their cards...

Managers claim that the RP wording with respect to the award of high density and swaps are to make it transparent and enforceable...

They’re worry about abuse by officers who are senior enough to secure more days off with high density rosters.

What they’re really worried about IS THAT THEY CANT lose these officers ... because of crew shortage.

They want a mechanism where by they can award high density rosters to people according to their internal attendance record. This mechanism is not transparent. It is open to abuse from management side. Where is our assurance that management won’t abuse their new found power to pressure us in the next set of negotiations?

They want us to believe them when they’re the ones who unilaterally reneg on deals with a smile on their faces while saying trust us...

We paid for the current request system and life style choice... now they want us to pay some more for it... they claim the JCR will be implemented if we agree to the previous rostering agreement. Now they have the JCP generating substandard rosters without crew having the power to make requests to avoid patterns or generate patterns to their liking. We have to put up with this for an unknown amount of time.. depending on outcome of negotiations .... talk about negotiating with a gun to our heads...

Wake up management! If you just give us a proper deal without trying to leverage us and reneg on previously agreed deals ... maybe you won’t have to worry about crew going sick because of the stress they face every time they see the Cx logo...
