The New Year
So, into 2018 we go. The previous year ended with a further attack on the aircrew, more threats and a seemingly paralyzed group of aircrew who don't seem very motivated to protect what pitiful conditions they have left. It is only fair to ask; "what are you (individually) willing to do to demonstrate to this management that you have had enough of the attacks and intimidation" ?
I am particularly asking that question of the more senior members. After many years in this company, it is up to us to demonstrate the example. Many of us are doing so, but many of you are too weak and selfish to play your part. If not, then you can count yourself as part of the problem, and an unwitting ally of the management. You are probably also the ones who complained loudest about the 13th month outrage.
Either the pilots of this airline rise up in opposition to the management and their tactics, or you must accept the loss of any value in your careers. We will become a joke, compared to other national airlines like BA,AF,LH,UA etc. They used to look at us with envy, now they only view us with pity. The pilots of this airline deserve a lot of the blame.
Between now and CNY exists your last and only hope to send that desperately needed message. I once worked for the 'dark side'. I can tell you that behind closed doors, they marvel at how we are too weak and cowardly to react, for if we did there is very little they could do but acquiesce. The cabin crew figured this out long ago. The only thing to fear is fear itself. Not our management, who have done nothing noble or positive in their professional lives. Their only accomplishments have been of a selfish nature, hurting others to enrich themselves. If you think that acceptable, then i'm sure you will be following your roster to the letter, won't you? :/
I am paying my tax bill today. Needless to say, that motivates me to focus on looking after my health. I'll be back at work when I am fit and able. How about you?

Good post. Agree 100%. Unfortunately, you are preaching to the choir. Most on here are doing their part, or pretending to. The few Management swine and their gullible followers on here are laughing at us as the silent majority is spinelessly carrying on as if there is no problem.
