LEP support

Thanks to the 72 ARAPA guys supporting the LEP's latest letter.

We, the LEP's, look forward to showing you support with the upcoming battle of ARAPA.

Coward I see what your getting at. Don't. Just don't mate. However, if you do want to have a dig at a group, how about the other LEPs that couldn't even be bothered to log on and sign their names.

As a long time ARAPA, please don't think that we don't care about the LEP issue. We do, and strongly. This company loves to divide and conquer (to the detriment of all). Don't let yourself be dragged down to managements level. All pilots who dedicate themselves to a career in CX deserve proper benefits. That means proper housing for all, including LEP's. A proper home for a family of four (as a normal average) should be affordable and available for every pilot. HKPA doesn't even come close, and ARAPA should be the normal level of housing for all pilots. That is what we should be fighting for.

A370 arenít you working for HKA?.I see you just picked up our reject marketing man, great move! Although you are probably a baggage handler anyway!

We all need to get behind both groups and stop any attempt to divide by AT! Get your name against the ARAPA and LEP posts.

We are way past the time for letter writing, we need to take action, but few seem interested.

Dan. Believe me, many of us ARE going to be taking action, and very soon. I assume you have planned your own individual contribution to the same.

It's as if nobody noticed that AOA letters for 10 years accomplished nothing, negotiations accomplished nothing, CC with TB for RPs accomplished nothing, HPE for RPs accomplished exactly what the company wanted, CMP negotiations accomplished exactly what the company wanted, both contractual RPs and ARAPA unilaterally canceled by the company, all while trainers kept training, many line pilots joined training during the soft ban, some others during the hard ban, the sickness rate going down instead of up, many keep showing up early for work and still others keep facilitating roster changes, and lastly, the truly moronic actually volunteer for sim trials (etc.) and still worse, many personally cease CC discipline (too dumb to read between the lines) during the temporary AOA suspensions of CC for typhoons...but now, now they are going to sign another big, bad letter of fluff to someone who does not care, already knows every bit of the content, and loves getting everyone all riled up and scared like babies.

Whinging about your disappointment will accomplish nothing. Either demonstrate your value with real action, now, today, and every day, or bend over and take it.

I said it before and I'll say it again: The time is long overdue to crank CC and TB up a notch or three, stop wasting time and money on negotiations, provide the list of requirements to cease CC/TB, and wait.

If only 10% of the time and effort blown on HPE were spent on even just intermal PR and/or pilot education of negotiation/CoS history, we'd be much further ahead than continuing to play right into management's hands.

I have lost count of how many times I and others on the GC have asked for exactly that action in the past, and every, EVERY, time the President has a better idea and continues down the appeasement road.

I can forgive '94 because we were just babes in the wood, but not anymore.

In '99 a mass sickout was organized, and this was well before whatsapp, FB and the like. This time we have a legitimate highly stressful situation of losing family homes. Why are CX planes still flying with highly stressed crews?

You guys are sure a dumb ass bunch if you are telling your management that you will do a sick out or some other such action on the 30 th .

They will reinforce standbys and try identify those who are sick on that day. They will then wait until the next sick out .
They will correlate those persons posts on PPRuNe . And hunt down the likes of Trafalgar and
his PPRuNe buddies.

BTW , it seems that a few of you are happy to jump the seniority in HKA for a quick command. But were there an integration with KA, there would be hell to pay if ever a KA skipper bid for a cx command slot.

Double standards? Yep , as ever.

Oooohhh, yes, they will 'hunt' me down. a370, did your mommy let you out to play again unsupervised. In case it hasn't occurred to your undeveloped brain, people will actually be sick on the 30th. Further, many of us will be sick on or around that date. All legit. Sorry if that is inconvenient for the company. You however seem to have a legitimate case of mental illness, and probably shouldn't be flying.
