Say Please:

If Trump wants that Drone back he is going to have to send someone to collect it and he had better say "Please".

Ball's in Trump's court. Re-arming and modernization of democratic Taiwan's military the next move before these clowns start a war in Asia.

Get a grip OP

He doesn't have to say please, and he shouldn't have to say please to a bunch of thieves who stole a clearly marked piece of US property, they knew exactly which US ship it was from, and what it was, which is why they launched their hi-speed boat to snag it from under the eyes of the U.S. boat!
They wouldn't be so cocky if the U.S. had blown them and their own drone out of the water, but if the Chinese carry on being a bunch of dicks, then some one is going to get hurt in the South China Sea.

Perhaps you'd like it if the stolen property was liberated from whichever Chinese defence establishment it was taken to, by a bunch of well trained US special forces, just to reinforce that they can't steal people's stuff at will.

I'm not saying the U.S. shouldn't be more careful with their toys, but seriously, say please?

Anyway OP, shouldn't you be crapping on about China's next manned space mission, or how you hope they're going to rule the world.

It shouldn't have been in the South China seas in the first place. Probably after the Chinese had a quick look, and a good laugh at the USA's "hitech" they decided they'd rather the USA disposed of their own trash.

The USA needs to butt out of China's affairs.

With all due respect my friend you seem to have forgotten the Hainan Island incident of 2001 in which a USA EP-3 spy plane violated Chinese airspace and was forced down onto Hainan Island. It was given back in pieces after the owners had come hat in hand to collect it. Then there was the captured spy ship USS Pueblo which violated North Korean waters. That one was not given back as the North Koreans decided to keep it as a tourist attraction even though it is still on the USA navy list as an operating ship. BTW SS Pueblo has just been moved to a dry dock in Pyongyang. It's been repainted and looks in top condition. The bullet holes are still outlined in red circles.
If you ever make it to Beijing with a day to spare go along to the aviation section of the Chinese War Museum and take a look at the U2 spy plane that was shot down over China. It's an interesting exhibit and the preamble that accompanies it is educational.

Beijing says it will return seized drone in ?appropriate manner?, while US president-elect Donald Trump accuses China of theft | South China Morning Post

China says it will be returned in 'an appropriate manner'. Just as soon as they've copied it!
