"Senior" SI's

Yes, it has begun.
On the December roster you will begin to see the names when you pitch up for your PC or other regulatory sessions in the sim.
Yes, these sad retired sycophants have absolutely no moral problems with pulling the rug out from under those hard working training Capt's who have been standing in line for years to get a promotion and pay rise as a CC.
Make no mistake, these fine gents "volunteer" to do this and obviously exhibit ZERO compassion or empathy towards those whom they displace. Those who are still actively line flying with a family to support and a mortgage to pay !
While the final tally it not yet known, four of them that are "eligible" are Star Chamber members. Believe it.......watch for it....

I absolutely can't find the correct words to articulate my thoughts on this subject. I am completely disappointed in the human race when I see this type of amoral behaviour.

Truly despicable. Now they free up STCs for line checks and some TB pressure is relieved. For now. Just leave already!! Haven't had enough yet???

Those poor training captains, who are 'hard at work' training cheap pilots and diluting our contract. Who also 'volunteered' to do it.

My heart bleeds for them.

Perhaps they will write another letter to the DFO.

You would have thought that the recent 'far too early' deaths of pilots would have made them think otherwise. Make them realise that there is a life outside of aviation, not to mention a realisation that they can fall of the perch at anytime.

You know what? They are smart enough to realise this. So the scary part is that they choose to live this life because of their ego. It is not training the new generation that drives them, it is not the personal rewards of imparting their knowledge to the young ones. It is purely ego based.

For those having regulatory sims with these clowns, be afraid. Especially the SI's who try to teach you to fly an Airbus like a TriStar.

Couldn't agree more. Can't wait to be "taught a thing or two" about how to fly the line.

I Think its great. I have always dreaded that I was going to have to retire at 65. Now I can rest assured that my dream of working for Cathay until 75 or even later is now a reality. Thank you to all those that have forged the path for me.
