All quiet on the Eastern Front, or is it?

Firstly, GC and NC, thank you whole heartedly for your efforts. You were dealt a Stacked Deck and everyone know it.

There is only one "Plan" that this divisive, Evil, Manipulative, Corporate Bully is working on and that is to spread more mis-information and scaremongering, so next time they hope they will actually buy enough "Sucker Votes" from the Junior, Naive, Been Here 5 Minute Crew, and Local Pilots, to send a clear message that Cathay Pacific is no longer a Career Airline.

Shameless, Sinful, Disingenuous Management "Ethos"

Anyone that can leave, Should!

Anyone that is thinking of coming, shouldn't!

Those of you unlucky enough to be "Handcuffed" to a Seniority System(sic) that allows the Junior Crew to vote on changes to your contract, understand by now that there is No Loyalty with CPA. Contract Jobs are Calling you.

Oh and those who came as International Cadets, you were only employed to fill seats as quickly as possible, and to be used to drive down the Conditions of Service for all Pilots. No one will blame you for coming but no one with thank you for voting yes to allowing the demise of such conditions.

DEFO's were always going to be needed as there is a seriously decreasing level of experienced Pilots as a result and a training system that cannot cope with the demand, despite managements best intentions to cut training to the bare minimum, once again impacting on Airline Safety and making the job increasingly more difficult for all Flightcrew Members.

SO's, DEFO's were always going to be needed and this is deliberately designed to get you all worked up so when they try to fast-track the new "Tweaked" Deal, they want enough of you to take the Bait and sell everyone down the Not-So Fragrant Harbour. THIS WAS ALWAYS GOING TO HAPPEN WHETHER YOU BELIEVE IT OR NOT.

I also hear that they want Aussies as they will not have to pay them for their special Additional Leave Pay they get after some years of service, which is why no Aussie Bases are going to be opened up. Hey Aussies, remember them promising you at interview about the Bases, come in Suckers yet again!!

Have you ever asked why it is that we have Non-Pilot Managers in the Top 2 Flight Ops Positions? What does that tell you about where CPA priorities lie?

Reduced Manning Levels + Reduced Experience Levels = Reduced Safety Levels

Anna-Lies That !!

I am not so sure that only LEPs or HKPA pilots voted YES.
Naive pilots, definitely, but some were very senile senior.

With a YES vote, we'd still have training at KA and DEFO. And there's nothing the HKAOA could have done about it anymore. No more CC, no more training ban. Nothing that could have been construed as industrial action. Remember clause 7?
No more bypass pay court case possible.

DEFOs, why not?
But we should be pushing for full expat conditions, which will eventually benefit our own HKPA pilots. Otherwise, we will end up with 1000h DEFO from P2F schemes instead of 4000h ones. And safety definitely won't improve.

If trainers haven't resigned yet, I sure hope they will if the candidates are not up to the expected experience level.

The one thing CX was banking on with a yes deal meant the increase in HKPA would go further to helping DEFO, now they'll really be struggling and scraping the bottom of the barrel thus increasing the load on the training system and destroying any quick fix.

The problem is not fixed, stay the course.
