Rostering after the TA

It seems the issue of rostering will not improve anytime soon. The changes are at a high now which of course is not the intent of the AFTLs. Yet another 747 pilot has passed away, that's two within a year, and I am starting to wonder if rostering is not playing a part.

I know it has been asked before but I am now really starting to question the CAD's role in this. It looks like they are using the term "industrial action" as a way to absolve themselves. The issue has been talked about for two years plus now and we still have the same problem. Why even publish a roster because you're not going to fly it.

The AFTLs is clear but somehow gets ignored or interpreted in guess whos favor? I, for one, think its time to step up pressure on the CAD, the regulator, to get this fixed. The company cares less about bad press. It's very clear as the stock is down, the complaints are up and the product, to me anyway, is over.

We put our resources into working with the company but it became clear that it was a ruse. They wanted us to sign off on what they have been, and continue to do, in rostering for some time. They'll use it as punishment now. A system is now in place for those that call in sick or unfit.

Nina M, a non pilot, is somehow the head of the FRMS. She does not have to fly the rosters but tells us what fatigue is and what an ASR-F is, really??? The Boeing CP has been tasked, as have others on the third floor, with dealing with us directly. I believe more terminations, and or threats, will take place to get us inline. It is not about a "new relationship" with the company and it never was.

We know where we are now the question then becomes how do we proceed? The "relationship" is gone forever, IMHO so, we have to learn how to live with this new dysfunctional relationship. One has to decide, as many are, if this is a place to continue to work, as it is truthfully awful and depressing now. These are all serious health issues that must be addressed under "duty of care". Where is that "duty of care"?

CAD, fix this!

CAD by name CAD by nature.

The 74 will run out of pilots before they run out of frames at this rate.

It is truly sad to realise that the company just simply doesn't give a sh!t anymore and that is why we all don't give a sh!t anymore!
