75th A380 for EK

Today Emirates received their 75th Airbus A380 more

And we cannot find 3 airframes (of any sort), plus crew, to separate CNS from Brisbane.

Abysmal.

We can, just they have decided to move 3 more to KA and 3 more leaving at the end of their lease. Hard to find 3 when you drop 6. Add the A340s that were dropped you can see where the A350 crews have come from.

CX had the opportunity to absolutely dominate HKG. MGMT has been asleep at the wheel or dancing around on 7's adverts like complete and utter clowns.

Hong Kong airlines have 16 A320's, 1 A330 and 15 A350's on order

Hong Kong Express have 13 aircraft with orders for 30 aircraft by 2018. More than double fleet size and a very aggressive growth plan. CX are replacing a few clapped out 340's, 330's and 744's with very little net growth and no firm orders bar the 350's.
Some might say they make money to spite themselves

Crew at both those airlines seem very unhappy, so the lesson CX will learn is that if they want to grow faster - treat pilots worse

Probably explains why EK has opened the doors again for DEC on the 777

And the CX guys are happy by comparison?
It's all turning crap.
By the way - the people in HKA causing the most 'dissatisfaction' among the pilots are mostly 'refugees' from CX.
HKA is a subsidiary of HNA, a Mainland China Airline with excellent pay and Commuting Contracts. But HKA pays way less, and refuses commuting contracts to expats. Guess who fixed it up like that?
The CX rejects.
