RIP - Captain Nigel Humphries

Just got the news today that ex-CX Captain Nigel Humphries who joined 6/9/86 and left before his 55th birthday, subsequently becoming Chief Pilot of Air Southwest in the UK succumbed to cancer recently, passing away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. HKAOA informed.

HUMPHRIES NIGEL Passed away peacefully, aged 64 years, on 11th February at his home in Axbridge after a long and courageous fight. Nigel, was the eldest son of the late Douglas and Lorna Humphries. He leaves behind his wife Cressida, children Huw, Megan and Amelia, and two grandchildren Elizabeth and Florence. There will be a Service of Thanksgiving for his life at St. Mary's Church, Wedmore, Somerset on Thursday 18th February at 3 pm. All welcome, no black please. Donations if desired in aid of Marie Curie or Weston Hospice may be sent to C.V.Gower, The Square, Winscombe, BS25 1BS All details at: Welcome
