Sadly (but predictably), they have only admitted their fault after they were caught. Now of course, they are all in CYA mode, and the blame game begins. It will be much the same at CX/Swire one day. I don't know when it will happen, but eventually the lies, deceit, corruption, lawlessness will be public record. Probably after a tragic incident. Then think how much fun we will have watching the ST's, NR's, AT's and other shameless individuals ducking for cover, and ultimately blaming each other. Hopefully they will stand in the dock one day. In the meantime, keep the pressure on and watch this mess of an airline crater. It is the ONLY way to restore some ethical balance between us and them.

Unfortunately, we have the climate for a 'perfect storm' here. Highly qualified and motivated pilots find themselves on opposing teams to highly qualified so-called 'Managers'.
Recruited for their brilliance from one of the best Universities in England, we have the likes of Anna and Nick tasked to lead and control (shall we say 'restrict') the lives and aspirations of a loyal and highly motivated ( but essentially non- brilliant) group of "'jumped up 'bus drivers'".
Spitfire owning 'Sradrian' has long since passed the reigns to his accountant mates and the pilots have been sold down the Swanney. There will be a time when all this results in a 'major incident' of some kind or other. It will be the fault of said accountants and 'non- Managers'. Enjoy your time in the sun girls 'cos you WILL be found culpable when the s**t hits the fan. MARK MY WORDS.

Nah, we are safe. No way our bunch could ever think of or execute something as clever as the VW software hack. Would mean being able to write & deliver working IT for a start...

That's where you're wrong Freehills. They delivered a hack to their very own over budget EFB. The way the software works is whenever the EFB senses that it is switched on and being used it immediately applies its software hack so the EFB fails to function properly or not at all depending on the time of day.

Pure evil genius really.

@Arfur Dent

"Recruited for their brilliance..."

Here I thought they were just corporate lickspittles.
