Cathay Interview

Hello All

I have just recieved a phone call offering an interview with Cathay.

For years this has been THE place to work! What has happened!
Bickering and Fighting.

Can someone employed with Cathay please help me out by explaining (in a nutshell) what is the problem. I have read the forum here and its difficult to access what is happening.

I DO NOT want to step on anyones toes but I would really love a job with Cathay. Whats is the procedure!!!

Any help with what and where the hiring is for and any hints on the interview would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Hi Guys,
Must be lucky. I have an interview Skymark and Cathay. Which should I choose if I am so lucky to get both offers. I understand there seems to be a little tiff at Cathay at the moment, but with all the boys standing tall together and accepting no upgrades, I am sure this little miss understanding will be rectified before I join. Good on you boys, I and all the guys here are so proud of you. Love your work.

Hey Polarus, if you want, I would love to know your flying backround (experience), which op. did you come out of in Canada? Have done some g.a. flying there and love it.

Sourgrapes says: Thanks Polarus; I guess I'll hang on to mine for now - don't want to be pressed into making a decision that soon!

Having read the link to the CX Pilot's union page, sounds to me like CX should be avoided until this dispute is resolved.

Going against the wishes of a labor union will label you for your entire career.TC
